During the sandblasting process, the paint on the trim and around the windows was affected so we had to contract with another paint company to caulk, sand and repaint these areas incurring additional expense. After a few weeks of this, we contracted with a commercial sandblasting company to fix our home. We asked for a refund of $2,000 of the $2,778 deposit paid to fix our home and they would not respond. They would only answer if we called from a different number. We tried to contact paint pros multiple times over the next few weeks and they would not return phone calls, emails or texts. At this point we decided to stop and take a few days to figure out what to do. Although they stated they knew how to whitewash and "did it all of the time" when we contracted with Paint Pros to do the job. It was clear they did not know how to do a "whitewash technique" with exposed brick showing. They also tried another test patch on the back of our house by diluting the paint and rolling it on the house. They would need to use chemicals to remove it. They told us they applied three coats of paint and it was too thick to remove with the pressure washer because it also had a sealer mixed into the paint. The next morning they showed up and didn't have a pressure washer (theirs was broken) so they used our residential pressure washer and were unable to remove the paint. We told Paint Pros this is not what we wanted and they said they would come back and to try to fix it with a pressure washer. Not a "whitewash" technique with exposed brick. In that time my work has been shown in magazines such as super street, taken first place for best paint and admired by many. When we returned home from work, we found a completely painted white brick result. Specialties: For the past 13 years I have been painting, learning new techniques and trying new things. They showed up 4 hours late and I was not able to stay to watch them start the job as I had to go to work. We contracted with Paint Pros on 9/19/21 to "whitewash" our brick home and paid half of the cost of the job upfront as a deposit.
